RE: SP201100020 /1- & B Towing -Snows Business Park

Dear Mr. Tate:
On January 11, 2012, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action on SP201100020 to allow
towing and temporary storage of motor vehicles on the above referenced parcel in the Scottsville District.
This special use permit was approved based on the following conditions:
Development of the use shall be in general accord with the Concept Plan entitled L &B Towing for
SP201100020, prepared by Brian Tate and dated November 17, 2011, (hereinafter, the
"Conceptual Plan "), as determined by the Director of Planning and the Zoning Administrator. To
be in general accord with the plan, development shall reflect the following major elements
essential to the design of the development:
• location of the area for towed vehicles
• location of additional parking
• location of existing. landscaping area
Minor modifications to the plan which do not conflict with the elements above may be made to.
ensure compliance with the Zoning Ordinance;
Landscaping shown in the concept plan shall be maintained in its current condition, unless
authorized to change by the Zoning Administrator; and
Vehicles may be stored on -site for a period of time not to exceed sixty (60) days, unless directed
by a law enforcement or state government agency to keep them longer than sixty (60) days.
Please be advised that although the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action on the
project noted above, no uses on the property as approved above may lawfully begin until all
applicable approvals have been received and conditions have been met. This includes:
- - - - - - - - - compliance with conditions of the SPECIAL -USE _PERMIT;
_
• approval of and compliance with a LETTER OF REVISION; and
• approval of and compliance with a ZONING COMPLIANCE CLEARANCE.
In the event that the use, structure or activity for which this special use permit is issued is not commenced
within twenty -four (24) months from the date of Board approval, it shall be deemed abandoned and the
permit terminated. The term "commenced" means "construction of any structure necessary to the use of
the permit."
