It's been my understanding all along that this was simply a conveyance of land by Brookmill to the City. I don't know
where a dedication of land comes into play, but maybe this is something required by the County. I'll have to talk with
Lisa R.when she returns tomorrow.

The county has the plat in hand for signature.
See question about deed of dedication below from Ellie at the County. Did we resolve that?This is a joint dedication of
land to City and County. Perhaps she needs to run it through the attorney office and then have the Executive sign the

I have reviewed the plat and all of my previous comments have been addressed. Two full sized copies should be
submitted for signature; I will keep one for my file and give one back to you for recordation.
My only remaining question is who is handling the deed of dedication? For the public projects I do for the County, I get
the deed of dedication and send it through the County Attorney's Office for review and then on to the County Executive
for his signature. I have assumed that this is being dedicated to the City and that I don't need to handle the deed as I
normally would...so let me know if there is something that I need to do on that.

I'm not totally certain that I understand your question...but I think you said that there aren't existing
easements present on the property and that you are going to create them with this plat...and wanted to
know if you could just create the easements on the"special lot" portions of the larger parcel. So, if I've
understood properly, I don't think we care about how you show/record those easements. If the
easements were being recorded to satisfy some site plan or subdivision requirement,then we'd want
the entire easement shown...but in this case you're doing it on your own volition. Conversely, my
comment on the plat was about properly labeling all existing easements and these aren't existing, so
that issue should be gone. I would think for simplicity sake you'd want to show larger portions of
easement versus smaller...the end result could end up being some wacky string of easements recorded
in bits and chunks over time, but I don't think this particular situation falls under the purview of my
review.

I have revised the plat per most of the County's comments and have attached a draft plat showing the revisions. Below
is a list of the items not yet addressed.
1. I did not find recorded easements for ACSA sanitary sewer.We didn't include easement research since it can be
costly. I previously contacted ACSA to see if they had any info.They didn't have recording documents, but Alex
Morrison did have a timeframe for when the sewer was installed. Is this something Barbara can help with?
5. I'll send full sized copies once we address all comments.
11. I have a call into to Ellie Ray with the County about the acreage. It is not required that we survey all of a parent
tract in order to subdivide. I referenced the KHA plat acreage because the County records are clearly wrong. (I think
they say it is less than 1 acre.) I will see if they will accept a copy of the unrecorded survey.They may just want to
have accurate records for the area and some documentation.
