Dear Mr. MacCall,
We own three adjacent parcels of land in Southern Albemarle County identified on
tax map 101 as 101-1B, 101-1C and 101-1D. Our current home is situated on 101-
1C with the street address of 2449 Dudley Mountain Road, North Garden,VA 22959.
Enclosed are three applications for boundary adjustment and sub-division which,
taken together, constitute our proposal to re-configure our existing three parcels
and to create a fourth parcel by utilizing the division rights assigned to 101-1B.
You kindly furnished a proposed course of action designed to achieve our goal in
three phases. We have attached a copy of your drawing outlining the boundaries
that result for each of the three steps. The first is a boundary line adjustment of
101-1B that will incorporate parts of 101-1D into a 36.911 Acre parcel. The second
is a two-lot sub-division of the newly created 101-1B to create a new Lot A.The
third is a rural division of the reconfigured 101-1C to create a new Lot B.
We are submitting the three applications together to permit what will hopefully be a
coordinated review process by the Department of Community Development.
The survey and engineering work required for these applications was performed by
Terra Engineering and Land solutions, PC (Steve Driver telephone 434-989-8786)
and the soil studies were provided by Steve Gooch Consulting Geologist, Inc. (Steve
Gooch telephone 434-531-0487). You may contact them directly for technical
questions or requests. You can also reach either of us if we can assist in any way.
