Attached are VDOT's comments on SUB2014-102 Iwe LLC/Acme Stove.
Notably from these comments it does not appear VDOT is willing to give up Parcel C (1919.57SF).

Sorry, upon your request I did a substantial amount of additional research on this proposal but then got pulled in
a different direction before finalizing my findings. Evidently there is a long history of submittals for a vacation
plats on this parcel and the right of way,with the most recent being SUB2008-16 Stonehaus Parcel
"C"/1B/Strip, which was ultimately suspended due to inactivity (see attached plat). In the file there was a letter
from VDOT dated Dec 3, 2007 (see attached), in which they state they are not interested in selling the
1919.57SF portion of public right of way (see the attached letter),they may have changed their stance since
2007, but the applicant would need to contact VDOT to determine this. The letter also discusses the 742.74SF
portion which was proposed to be dedicated to public use, VDOT does not feel they need this be that portion

Thus as I see it, the vacation plat would only be submitted to vacate the 18' strip dedicated for future
passageway through lots 18, and if it is applicable because of the vacation to re-dedicate the 742.74SF portion
for public right of way purposes. If you would like to move forward with this application at this time, the
application would be a vacation plat and the fee would be $150.
I have CCed Jack Kelsey and Glenn Brooks to this email, as my history research yields they are an integral part
of this proposal.
