This letter is to notify you that the following development proposal has been submitted to the County
for review:
SUB201400176 Hilltop— Preliminary Subdivision Plat
MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT: Rio
TAX MAP/PARCEL: 06100-00-00-12600
LOCATION: Old Brook Road, approximately 200 feet from intersection of Redington Lane.
PROPOSAL: Request for preliminary plat approval to create 6 single family detached lots
and an open space parcel on 2.54 acres for a density of 2.4 units/acre. The application is
utilizing density bonus factors for preservation of existing wooded area and for serving the
development with an internal street.
ZONING: R-2 Residential -2 units/acre.
ENTRANCE CORRIDOR: NO
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: Neighborhood 2-Places 29-Neighborhood Density Residential—
residential (3—6 units/acre)supporting uses such as religious institutions,schools and other
small-scale non-residential uses.
This development proposal is scheduled for the Site Review Committee meeting on the date
listed below. The applicant's attendance is not mandatory, although it may be requested by the
County. Regardless of whether the applicant will be attending, the County staff will be available
for consultation on the Site Review Committee meeting date at 10:00 a.m., in Room 235 of the
County Office Building on McIntire Road in Charlottesville. This meeting will be an informal
session with the Site Review Committee to discuss issues and share information.
The development proposal will be reviewed and approved, subject to compliance with applicable
ordinances, by the Site Review Committee.

Plans for the proposed development are available for your review in the Department of Community
Development. To assure the file information is ready for your viewing and to allow staff to be
available to help with any questions,we encourage you to schedule a viewing time. Please call 296-
5832 ext 3432 during business hours (8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mon-Fri)to schedule an appointment. While
an appointment is not required, we do give priority to those with appointments. Those without
appointments may find th'bmaterials are in use by others and/or`off is not available to help.
Should you wish to attend the Site Review Committee meeting, please notify the Department of
Community Development so that any concerns may be adequately addressed.
