Box 7095 Charlottesville VA 22906 RE: Board of Zoning Appeals Action - Special Use Permit #SP 97-35 Tax Map 32, Parcel 37Al, Sign #20 Dear Mr. Shields; This letter is to inform you that your Special Use Permit #SP 97-35, was heard during the public hearing by the Albemarle County Board of Zoning Appeals on Tuesday, September 2, 1997. The Board unanimously (4:0) approved the special use permit request to allow an off-site advertising sign in aecordance with section 4.16.12.6(a) of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance with the following conditions: 1) The applicant shall receive approval from the Architectural Review Board for the proposed sign. 2) The applicant shall obtain written approval from the Albemarle County Service Authority for sign location. 3) There shall be no more than one freestanding sign on tm 32/37AI on the Route 29 frontage. 4) The sign shall advertise only those permitted uses on 37AI on the Route 29 frontage business or parcel 41Hl, currently the Storage Center. 5) The sign shall be limited to 32 square feet and 12 feet in height.
