RE: SP2007.000S0 Carters Mountain (ATC) - Verizon Tier III PWSF
Tax Map 91, Parcel 28
Dear Mr. Waller:
On February 13, 2008, the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action on SP #2007-
00050 to allow co-location of a personal wireless service facility on an existing tower on Tax
Map Parcel 91-28 in the Scottsville District. This special use permit was approved based on the
following conditions:
1. All work shall be done in general accord with what is described in the applicant's request
and site construction plans, entitled "Carters Mountain Crown Orchard property, with a
final zoning-drawing submittal date of 09/17/2007;
2. Additional antennae installation on this tower will require a special use permit; and
3. The facility will have only one (1) outdoor light fixture (that complies with the County's
lighting requirements) attached to the proposed shelter to be used by Verizon's technical
operations staff only when night-time maintenance is necessary.
Please be advised that although the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors took action
on the project noted above, no uses on the property as approved above may lawfully
begin until all applicable approvals have been received and conditions have been met.
This includes:

compliance with conditions of the SPECIAL U~~.E~.~~!r.i
approval of and compliance with a SITE PLAN ~m~n~mgnt; and
approval of a ZONING COMPLIANCE CLEARANCE.

In the event that the use, structure or activity for which this special use permit is issued is not
commenced within twenty-four (24) months from the date of Board approval, it shall be deemed
abandoned and the permit terminated. The term "commenced" means "construction of any
structure necessary to the use of the permit."
