From: Margaret Maliszewski Sent: Friday, March 21, 2014 2:22 PM To: Kenny Thacker; Ron Higgins Subject: New Hope Church site Kenny and Ron, An ARB member has heard that some SP conditions haven't been met and some trees were cut that shouldn't have been at the New Hope site. I don't have any more detail than this. Have you heard anything like this? The project goes back to the ARB on April 7 and I will likely need to respond to these issues at that time. From: Mark Graham Sent: Tuesday, September 17, 2013 6:07 PM To: 'MIKE2848 @GMAIL.COM' Subject: New Hope Church Dear Pastor Henderson, As an update on things, I was given the attached copy of the deed for the church property and noted you are listed as one of the trustees -For the property. First, I will note Exhibit A of the deed is a private restriction and does not affect County review of the site plan. Whether this deed restriction limits the ability to put a church on this property or whether a well can be placed on the property is an issue between GE Fanuc and the current property owner. That said, I am left wondering what is going on and would appreciate answers to the following two questions: 1. Is this deed restriction still in place or has there been a subsequent agreement to supercede this? 2. Is GE Fanuc aware the property owner is currently proposing a church on the property that is dependent on a well for a water supply? 1 I sincerely hope the church Nolnot making decisions with the ag eMption that the County will extend public water service to this property. That extension would first require the County to expand its Jurisdictional Area to include this property and I believe that would be a difficult decision for the Board of Supervisors to support. The church should make no reliance on public water service being available to this property without the County Board of Supervisors first expanding the Jurisdictional Area to include the property. Thank you in advance for any information you can provide. If you have any questions with respect to this concern or would like to discuss it further, please feel free to call me at 434-242-9366, ext 3248. Mark B Graham, Director of Community Development 2
