Under § 17 -902 of the Albemarle County Code, you are hereby notified to immediately cease all
land disturbing activities on the above referenced property with the exception of work to
address any necessary corrections as given in writing by the County Erosion Control Inspector.
This stop work order is being issued for;
Land Disturbance without a Plan or Permit: Stabilize the entire site, and submit an
erosion control plan, Water Protection Ordinance Application and fee to the

Failure to Comply A prior Notice To Comply has been issued and corrective measures
satisfactory. Apply corrective measures to address the Notice To Comply. �#s
Immanent Danger to Adjacent Property or State Waters: The land disturbance
threatens to damage adjacent property or public waters unless corrective measures
are taken immediately. Mud/Pollution In Stream Sedimentation or
pollution was observed in a stream or pond. Clean up stream or pond by hand,
and repair the source of the erosion or pollution, or submit a stream restoration
plan for county approval.
A sworn complaint has been made by the Albemarle County Erosion Control Inspector below. This
STOP WORK ORDER shall remain in place for seven (7) days. If satisfactory repairs have not been
made within seven (7) days, the County may elect to issue another Stop Work Order, and /or petition the
Circuit Court for penalties and relief with regard to this violation. Re- inspection of this notice to verify
corrective measures will incur a $250 fee (17- 207/8, $150 for SF).
