RE: SDP201500012 Earlysville Business Park — Minor Amendment
Dear Mr. Miller:
Your Minor Amendment application has been reviewed. In order for the amended site plan to be
approved the following revisions are required:
1. [32.5.2(n)] Any reference to the improvements that have been built should be referred to as
existing on this plan.

2. [32.5.2(a)] This site plan is a minor site plan amendment to previously approved site plan
number SDP 200500144 Earlysville Business Park — Major Site Plan Amendment. Amend title to
include original site plan number rather than WPO number.

3. [32.5.2(a)] The note under Site Data on sheet 1 has the Tax Map labeled incorrectly as 32.
Revise to TM 31.

4. [32.5.2(a)] Show setback lines on plans.

5. [32.5.2(d)] Show areas of site where existing slopes are critical slopes. Disturbance is not
permitted in critical slopes without a critical slopes waiver.
Rev1: Comment not fully addressed. Section 18- 4.2.6(c) allows disturbance to critical slopes for
stormwater management facilities provided the applicant demonstrates that no reasonable
alternative location or alignment exists. Provide proof that no alternative alignment exists. Work
with engineering staff to work out final alignment that minimizes disturbance to critical slopes.
6. [Comment] This amendment cannot be approved until Engineering completes their review and
grants their approval. An approved revised WPO plan will be required prior to approval.
Engineering comments will be forwarded upon receipt.
Rev1: Engineering approval still pending.
7. [Coh ----- _ it] FYI - A final site plan (SDP200800061) was approved for this site on 9/16/09 which
proposes an extension of the private drive, additional parking and a building in the vicinity of the
relocated stormwater facility proposed by this amendment. If the applicant ever intends on
moving forward with the previously approved plan, it appears the relocated stormwater facility
would be in conflict with these features.
Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 18 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The
Code is kept up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's
website which may be found under "Departments and Services" at Albemarle.org.
In accord with the provisions of Section 32.4.3.5 of Chapter 18 of the Code if the developer fails to
submit a revised final site plan to address all of the requirements within six (6) months after the date of
this letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer.
