The letter of revision proposes the following changes as shown on the attached Plan Sheets C4 of 9, C6 of 9 and C9 of 9 dated 5 -14- 15 & 6- 11 -15: 1. Relocate the order menu and speaker post from the West side of the building to the South side. 2. Add an 84" x 84" rain guard canopy over the speaker post (to match building canopies in color and material; detail on Sheet C9). 3. Removal of continuous sidewalk behind building to end near the new menu board location. 4. Relocation of approved landscaping to behind new menu board location. 5. Relocation of approved light pole approximately 6' east to allow placement of menu board. 6. Extension of sidewalk on west side of the building (in old menu board location) to provide connection to parking on Abbey Road. There are no other changes to the approved plan proposed. This is the first (1St) Letter of Revision for this site. Three (3) Letters of Revision are allowed, after which all required changes must submitted in the form of a site plan amendment. In addition, the Owner would like to add an 84" x 84" rain guard canopy (matching the building canopies in color and material) above the speaker post. Plan revision sheet 9 shows the detail for the rain guard canopy. The proposed revisions also include removing the continuous sidewalk behind the building and ending it near the new location for the menu board. This change allows the approved landscaping in this area to shift back behind the menu board and speaker post. The proposed light pole in this location is also shifted east along the curb line by approximately 6 feet to allow the placement of the menu board and speaker post and canopy as shown on the revision sheet 6. The area on the west side of the building (where the approved plan currently shows the menu board) will become a continuous sidewalk, allowing a pedestrian travel way from the parking area near Abby Road. The requested changes do not affect the number of stacking spaces in the drive -thru lane and the requested changes do not affect the quantities of plantings approved on the landscape plan. The changes will do the following: (1) remove the menu board further from the entrance corridor viewshed, (2) ease pedestrian traffic to and from the rear of the site, and (3) move the queue at the menu board further from the front door, allowing easier pedestrian crossing at the drive -thru.
