The soil work that was provided to me on Wednesday at 3:16pm has been sent out to the Health Department this morning...as to the exact location of the documents, it's currently sitting in the inner office mail slot here at the county awaiting our currier to pick it up and forward it to the Health Dept. I anticipate the Health Dept should receive it Monday and can begin their review. While the above process is in motion I advise you to get that private street maintenance agreement drafted up and forwarded to me. The County Attorney's office has to review it and approve it prior to approval of the plat. Other than the above the plat still needs to be reviewed for compliance with the Subdivision Ordinance. Based on when this application was submitted my comments for this project are not due to the applicant till May 25; however, I understand the time sensitivity of this project and will expedite the review. (VDOT) 2 Sent: Monday, May 04, 2015 5:20 PM Noe To: Gwen Lacy Subject: FW: Blue Ridge Custom Homes-T.M. 73-36-St. Rt. 637 Good Afternoon Gwen, I have reviewed the plat showing the new 30' private street easement using the upper entrance off of route 637 and closing the lower entrance utilizing one entrance for both the existing and new Lot. I have also reviewed in the field and find that the upper existing entrance will need to be upgraded to the new minimum VDOT entrance standards and the lower entrance driveway and pipe to be removed. I approve use of the existing upper entrance for both parcels.This entrance also meets VDOT sight distance requirements in both directions.A VDOT entrance permit will be required for the removal of the lower entrance and upgrading of the upper entrance to the VDOT minimum entrance specifications.
