Dear Mr. Coan:
This letter is to inform you that on January 11, 1994, during the meeting of the Albemarle
County Board of Zoning Appeals, the Board (5 :0) unanimously approved your request for
SP-93-33, subject to the following conditions:
1) Approval of the sign and lighting by zoning staff and Design Planner;
2) Replacement or modification shall be subject to the approval of the Design Planner
and Zoning Staff.
3) A landscaping plan shall be submitted by applicant for the area at the base of the sign,
and subject to approval of the Design Planner.
4) Landscaping for the sign shall be installed prior to April 1, 1994.
This special use permit approval allows relief from Section 4.15.12.1 of the Albemarle County
Zoning Ordinance to allow an off-site advertising sign.
