Dear Ms. Ragsdale,
On behalf of UVA Foundation, and Bruce Wardell Architects (BRW) we submit this Letter
of Revision (LOR) request letter to describe the proposed changes to the above
referenced site plan.
Description of Proposed Site Amendment
Currently the Town Center 1 Building (TC1) provides more than ample parking based on
the Albemarle County parking ordinance. Currently there are 37 more spaces than are
required.
As such, we propose to use three (3) regular size parking spaces to create space for a
new generator pad and enclosure. The generator is required by one of the occupants
which will be moving into the building per the renovation design by BRW. The enclosure
will match the adjacent dumpster and equipment pad enclosures in form and scale.
The original site plan indicated a gas easement in the vicinity of the project which would
need to be crossed to connect the generator supply to the building. However, this gas
line and easement were never installed or established with the original project build -
out. See the attached resource provided to Line and Grade by Charlottesville Gas.
As such we did not require the approval of a utility provider. Also, it is noteworthy to L I N E
mention that the selected generator pad enclosure would not require the relocation of
the existing telecom service lines, nor the irrigation lines in the vicinity. GRADE
