All of the inlets shown on the plan are actually already installed, including the Filterras. The good news is that the manufacturer (Contech) must have sent some of their old designs already fabricated to be installed, and the throat inlets are indeed the original values, and not the corrected values. Therefore all of the throat lengths remain the same from the original approved plan, and this table has not been affected with this revision. I hope this clears the concern. But if not feel free to ask any questions for clarity. Thanks! A single follow -up: please share verification that the few on -grade Filterra flanking inlets that were affected still meet the capture efficiency of the original Filterra inlets. Provide original v. revised capture efficiency comparison. Thank you. 434.296 -5832 β€”0069 From: Ryan Yauger [mailto:ryauger @ bohlereng.com] Sent: Tuesday, August 11, 2015 8:39 AM To: John Anderson <]anderson2 @albemarle.org> Subject: FW: Project: V122001 - File Transfer - Wegmans Final Site Plan Revision - Circled Plans Good Morning John, As requested, here is the forwarded list of comment responses. Please let me know if you have any questions, Thanks! Ryan From: Ryan Yauger Sent: Wednesday, August 05, 2015 11:16 AM To: 'John Anderson' Cc: V122001 @nf.bohlereng.com Subject: RE: Project: V122001 - File Transfer - Wegmans Final Site Plan Revision - Circled Plans John, Thank you for meeting with us last week at our weekly Thursday timeslot. As discussed, I have prepared short responses to each item that were listed below. Please let me know if you have any further questions prior to Plan Approval. 1. Storm structure A -29 is a manhole added per the manufacturer's request. We originally had 2 Filterra units connected in series, which the manufacturer informed us could not be done due to the invert depths. Because of this we rotated the proposed Filterra unit 90 degrees and shifted it to the head of the parking space instead of the side of the space. The drainage area stayed the same going to the inlet for capture and treatment purposes. 2. This Wegmans plan shows the correct SWM vault layouts as approved in WP0201500013. 3. There was a construction conflict between the bottom of the lid and the top of the weir in the flow splitter structure directly upstream of the proposed Sand filter. The entire Sand filter was lowered one (1) foot in order to provide adequate clearance for water moving over the weir. The drainage area and sizing calculations all stayed the same for the Sand filter, just the vertical location was lowered by 1 foot. 4. As discussed, the roof drains have revised again since this last submission, so this table no longer applies. 5. As discussed, the Filterra manufacturer (Contech) now only produces the inlet openings in intervals of 4'. Therefore the Filterra sizes remained the same, sized accordingly for the accompanying drainage areas. The inlet openings were rounded to the nearest 4' interval for construction purposes. I have verified that the few on -grade Filterra flanking inlets that were affected still meet the capture efficiency of the original Filterra inlets. Please let me know if you have any other concerns prior to approval. Thank you! Thank you for your patience. I am writing to request clarification or information required to evaluate revisions or additions to the Approved Wegmans Final Site Plan, dated 12/13/13. β€”Ref. Attached. I especially hope to understand context of WPO- related changes. Attached letter is directed to Glenn Brooks, the County Engineer. He may be more familiar with WPO- related items. As soon as possible, please help with the following items listed in Daniel R. Hines letter to Mr. Brooks: (from Letter β€” "text" =text from letter) "Added Storm Structure A29 per manufacture request." Clarify. What is structure A29? (Cannot locate in inlet computations table, I IG,or Filterra summary table, I IE) What is effect of adding this structure? 2. "Underground Vaults have been revised per the SWMBMP WPO Phase II Amendment I Plan Approval." Clarify. Where is revision to underground vaults approval recorded? Can you reference WPO number? 3. "Sand filter 3 revised due to construction conflict." Clarify. Did size or underlying performance or function of the sand filter change with revision? Was change discussed with Engineering, or with Glenn Brooks? 4. "Roof drain computations revised to reflect new layout." What is effect of revised computations? -brief narrative. Clarify. Compare Amendment submittal table (revision) with Approved Wegmans Final Site Plan design. Has this item been discussed with Engineering? (with Glenn Brooks) This information will help prepare a meaningful response, both for Bohler Engineering and Planning Div. Planning Coordinator, Ms. Yaniglos. Thanks in advance for your help with this Ryan. You have helped already by removing 54 sheets. Your response will help correlate Daniel's letter and amendment items with Approved WPO and SWM requirements. Please feel free to call. I will be out this afternoon, in meetings 1 1A till then. Tomorrow, you may have a better chance of reaching me. Also, feel free to email.
