The following revisions are requested to make the proposal consistent with the Entrance Corridor Sign Guidelines. Reduce the size of the signs to eliminate the over - scaled appearance. The overall size of the signs should coordinate with the size of the opening at the base of the tower. Please note that the architectural drawings previously presented to the ARB showed the overall sign size as 6' tall by 8' wide, with the sign width matching the width of the opening at the base of the tower, and the bottom of the sign area almost 6' above the canopy. That size, proportion and location was appropriate. A portion of the approved elevations showing the sign area and the opening at the base of the tower is copied below. If you choose not to proceed with these revisions, staff will be unable to approve your application. If you choose to proceed with the revisions, please forward me one set of revised drawings together with a memo summarizing the revisions you've made (by email is acceptable). Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60 -day review period associated with your original submittal. However, I expect to complete the review of your revised proposal within 2 weeks of your re- submittal. Failure to respond to this letter shall be presumed to be a request to proceed to action on the application without further revisions. If you have any questions about this action, please contact me as soon as possible. I look forward to receiving your revisions and completing this review with an approval letter.
