September 4, 2015 Mr. Robbie Gilmer Fire Rescue Department 401 McIntire Road, North Wing Charlottesville, Virginia 22902 RE: SUB20 1 500 1 02 Dunlora V — Preliminary Plat Dear Robbie: Please see the electronically submitted Preliminary Plat for Dunlora V. We have revised the Preliminary Plat to address your comments dated June 22, 2015 in accordance with the following. 1. Cul -de -sac shall be 96' FC /FC. Response: The proposed island in the Road A cul -de -sac has been removed. The curb radius has been revised to 30' (60' FC /FC), which the Albemarle County standards allow for. Please note, that the Road A stub out is approximately 120' long. 2. Radii shall not be less than 25' Response: All intersection radii have been revised to 25'. 3. Fire flow test required before final approval. Response: Acknowledged. We will schedule a fire flow test with the ACSA and include the results on the plan prior to final plans are approved. 4. Streets 22' wide shall be marked "no parking fire lane" on both sides per Albemarle County Code. Response: The proposed streets have been widened to 24' FC /FC. Response: A temporary turn around has been provided for street B, as well as an emergency access route to the alley adjacent to the turn around. We trust the above adequately addresses your comments.
