SUBJECT: Board Actions of March 16, 1992
At the Board of Supervisors' budget work session on March 16, 1992, the
following actions were taken:
Agenda Item No.4. Budget Work Session:
Board of Supervisors - Budget decrease $19,777 instead of $20,453; Total
recommended $285,511 instead of $284,335;
Personnel - Reduction in Unemployment Insurance line item of $3990; Total
recommended $152,090 instead of $156,080;
Finance - Add $3000 for Cost Allocation Plan; Total recommended $1,803,058
instead of $1,800,058;
Board of Elections - Staff to review whether the Registrar position is
eligible to receive a bonus;
Emergency Operations Center - Budget decrease $55,708 instead of $57,212;
Total recommended $415,686 instead of $425,840;
Refuse Disposal - Staff to provide additional information on recycling
before next Wednesday.
The following items from the list of funding priorities were set aside for
discussion later:

Mr. Martin requested background information on how the Jefferson Country
Fire & Rescue Association, the individual fire companies, rescue squads and
Thomas Jefferson Emergency Medical Services tie in together.
Mr. George Williams is to make a presentation to the Board on April 1
concerning tipping fees at the landfill.
