Stormwater Management Plan(SWMP)
Comment 1: VSMP Regulation 9VAC25-870-108 requires the VSMP authority to approve or
disapprove a SWMP. This plan is disapproved, and the reasons are provided in the
comments below. The stormwater management plan content requirements can be found
in County Code section 17-403.
a. The constructed wetland should be designed to capture and treat its entire drainage
area. This design excludes the on-site impervious area with respect to storage.
Please use the total impervious area for your storage calculations, including both on-
site and off-site, and adjust the constructed wetland accordingly or re-route the
onOsite runoff so that the current configuration is adequate.
Response 1: Constructed wetlands have been revised to allow adequate volume for both the off-site
and on-site drainage area. Please see Sheet 6.
Should you have any questions regarding this project or require additional information, please do not
hesitate to contact me at(540)349-4500.
Sincerely,
Bohler Engineering
