Our ordinance does dictate that we need to ass.: new road names(and addresses) when there are 3 or more addressable structures sharing an access way. H. ever, we also try to see if we can accommodate people's concerns within those rules. After reviewing th'•:s with Andy, it seems reasonable to say that the existing 2150 Seminole Trl address's main access could be consi.-red the southernmost accessway and the 2 other building's main access is the northernmost accessway. Therefore 150 could remain the address and the 2 other building could get 2 other addresses off of Seminole Trl. Andy can work out any further details in this regard. Is there any way that Jim Price could keep their same 2150 Seminole Trail address and just use A, B and C on their three buildings (two existing buildings and one proposed building—see attached). They have been at that location for almost 40 years and would like to keep their main address if possible. As far as the road name for Jim Price Auto I could be mistaken but it does look like 3 different buildings that will need to have addresses. In the Addressing and Road Naming Ordinance we have to create a private road name when 3 or more addressable structures are using the same access. If you would like to discuss this more with my supervisor then you are welcome to email Damon Pettitt at dpettitt@albemarle.org to discuss this further. To this end, we hereby certify that all of the existing site light poles and fixtures were installed prior to the August 12, 1998 enactment of Zoning Ordinance Section 4.17.1, or the "Dark Sky Ordinance." Also, as you had discussed with Mr. Myers, the lights located at the front of the site along Seminole Trail are not required to comply with the June 14, 1989 ordinance prohibiting spillover from parking areas because these lights are located in display areas, and not parking areas. All new lighting fixtures will comply with the current ordinance requirements for full cutoff fixtures and spillover requirements. We thank you for your assistance in this matter and look forward to the approval of our Minor Site Plan Amendment as soon as is feasible. After consulting with Greg and Amelia we decided that the lights we were concerned with had been on the property prior to either the full cutoff regs or were lights that did not need to meet the requirement since they were not considered parking lot lights. The area for display could not be considered parking lot even though they are parking vehicles. It is display area that happens to park vehicles.
