Re: SDP-2014-00065 Stonefield, Block G
Dear Ms. Baldwin:
We have reviewed the final site plan for Stonefield, Block G dated 8/28/14 as submitted by W W
Associates and offer the following comments:
1. The distance from the proposed entrance onto Lennox Avenue to Route 29 needs to be
shown on the site plan to verify compliance with the corner clearance spacing
requirement found in Appendix F of the Road Design Manual.
2. A queuing analysis of the traffic signal at the intersection of Route 29 and Lennox
Avenue should be provided to determine the potential impact of the entrance on Lennox
Avenue to Route 29.

The Planner will recommend approval of the plat referred to above when the following items have been satisfactorily
addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions
may be added or eliminated based on further review.)
ARB
ARB approval is required prior to fmal site plan approval.An ARB application, checklist, and associated submittal
drawings and materials are required.
Building Inspections
Based on plans dated August 28,2014.
Due to the total number of parking spaces provided(228), eight barrier-free parking spaces are required. Provide three
more barrier-free parking spaces.
Engineering
See attached.
Fire Rescue
Based on plans dated 8/28/14
1. Install a hydrant near Building G-4 to meet the spacing requirements for the FDC. Please get with ACSA on the
location of the hydrant.
VDOT
See attached.
ACSA
It is my understanding that you are working directly with this agency. We will require their written approval prior to final
signature.
Planning
1. Update the ZMA numbers,proffers and COD to reflect the most recent approved.
2. Please clarify location of dumpster and loading areas for proposed buildings in Block G.
3. There appears to be lighting adjacent to Route 29 that does not meet the spillover requirements of the ordinance.
4. As stated above,ARB approval of the site plan must be obtained before I can approve this plan.
