Here is an updated comment from Engineering: Road plans have been approved under SUB200400333 Echols Subdivision. A road bond initiation request form will need to be submitted for Phase 2 of the Echols Subdivision. The road bond will be posted and approved prior to final subdivision approval. The road will be built and accepted into the State System or a road bond posted prior to Final Plat approval. I believe you can disregard VDOT's comments on the temporary turnaround because it's no longer required. The road has been constructed. For comments #5, I was looking at the large swath of critical slopes on Lot 4 and wanted to confirm there was a sufficient qualifying building site. I can consider Note 6 under General Notes on Sheet V1 as sufficient. For comment#6, it looks there are stormwater facilities that would need an access easement shown on the plat to provide access for maintenance, along with an agreement and recorded deed. We've been known to miss this in the past. Do you know if there is an existing agreement for the facilities shown? Fire/Rescue confirms their approval of the plat. Here is an updated comment from Engineering: Road plans have been approved under SUB200400333 Echols Subdivision. A road bond initiation request form will need to be submitted for Phase 2 of the Echols Subdivision. The road bond will be posted and approved prior to final subdivision approval. The road will be built and accepted into the State System or a road bond posted prior to Final Plat approval. I believe you can disregard VDOT's comments on the temporary turnaround because it's no longer required. The road has been constructed. For comments #5, I was looking at the large swath of critical slopes on Lot 4 and wanted to confirm there was a sufficient qualifying building site. I can consider Note 6 under General Notes on Sheet V1 as sufficient. For comment#6, it looks there are stonuwater facilities that would need an access easement shown on the plat to provide access for maintenance, along with an agreement and recorded deed. We've been known to miss this in the past.
