Hi Mr. Romeo,
Below are comments for the BLA plat between Harry and Florence Wellons and the Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority
(dated November 24, 2014).
The County can sign this plat with the following changes. Please let me know if you have any questions.
✓!. Section 14-302(A)(9) Please add a note that states"Parcel 11 and Parcel 11A each contain a building site that
complies with section 4.2.1 of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance."
Section 14-302(A)(10) Please add a note that states"Development rights are not affected by this plat."
3 Section 14-302(B)(5) Please note that both parcels are also zoned "Flood Hazard Overlay District."
Section 14-302(B)(7) Please note that both parcels lie in the "South Fork Rivanna Reservoir water supply
/ watershed." Please also add a note that neither parcel lies in an agricultural-forestal district.
4 Section 14-302(B)(9) Please show the floodplain area. Is this area currently identified on the plat as
"preservation area?"
4 Section 14-302(B)(10) Please show the stream buffers and add a note that states"The stream buffers shown
hereon shall be managed in accordance with the Albemarle County Water Protection Ordinance."
