The following revisions are requested to make the proposal consistent with the Entrance Corridor Sign Guidelines and approved Comprehensive Sign Criteria for this shopping center. 1. Revise the sign location to match the location required by the approved Comprehensive Sign Criteria (CSC) (see attached). Approved CSC state the following regarding sign location: "Centered left to right over storefront. All sign bottoms to align across roof. Sign tops not to exceed top elevation of lower slope of roof." Note: the proposed sign location is not aligned with the sign bottoms of the other existing signs and the sign top exceeds the top elevation of the lower slope of roof. 2. Revise the sign colors to include only those permitted by the approved Comprehensive Sign Criteria. Approved CSC limit sign colors to the following: White, black, green, or gold (PMS3). 3. Revise the sign drawing to indicate the sign cabinet frame color. Approved CSC require that the color be bronze. 4. Revise the sign drawing to include the following: a. A note stating: "The sign face shall have an opaque background, only the text and graphic shall illuminate." b. A note stating: "The level of illumination provided by the LED lights will not exceed the illumination produced by a single stroke of 30 milliamp (ma) neon." Please respond by email within 15 days of the date of this email indicating whether you will or will not proceed with these revisions. Your decision to make the revisions will suspend the 60 -day review period associated with your original submittal. If you choose to complete the revisions, please email the revised drawings to me. If you choose not to proceed with these revisions, staff will be unable to approve your application. Failure to respond to this email shall be presumed to be a request to proceed to action on the application without further revisions. If you have any questions about this action, please contact me as soon as possible. I look forward to receiving your revisions and completing this review with an approval letter.
