Good Afternoon Gwen,
I have reviewed the plats and driveway locations and have the following comments below. If you should have any
questions or concerns please let me know.
A rural division of Tax Map 30 Parcel 24A into Lot A and Lot B whereas both Lots have frontage and private entrance
access with one existing entrance approved for use and one new approved entrance location that meets VDOT private
entrance requirements.
A Subdivision Plat for Lot Al has an existing entrance that will serve this parcel and it is approved for continued use and
meets minimum VDOT specifications for private entrances.
A Subdivision Plat for Lot A2 has an existing entrance that will serve this parcel and it is approved for continued use and
meets minimum VDOT specifications for private entrances.
A private joint use driveway entrance with a new 40' private street easement will serve both Lot B1 and Lot B2 and this
driveway location has been approved for access to serve these Lots.A VDOT permit will be required prior to
construction of this private driveway entrance.

(Plat titled: "Rural Subdivision Plat Lot A and Lot B a division of TM 30-24A...")
Dear Ms. Batten:
The County of Albemarle has received application to develop/subdivide [Tax Map 30 Parcel 24A]. This project
requires Health Department approval before receiving final County approval. The applicant has provided soils
information for the proposed 10.04 acre Lot A and the 16.99 acre Lot B,which is attached. Please review the
proposal for suitable subsurface drainfields which comply with the provisions of Chapter 18, Sections 4.2.2,4.2.3,
4.2.4,and Chapter 14, Sections 14-309 and 14-310 of the Albemarle County Code. Should you have any comments
