Good afternoon Chris,
Please find attached a pdf copy of the Rural Division Plat for Matthew C. Hines.
The plat has been revised to address your comments dated May 18, 2015.
1. The groundwater review fee for this project was paid at submittal.
It must not have been entered into Countyview correctly.
We submitted all three plats at the same time on April 15, 2015 with a check in the amount of$2,760.00
(check#834).
The County of Albemarle receipt number is 99435.
I have contacted intake and it appears there was an error when the item was entered into Countyview. The fee
was paid. I have confirmation of this now. Thanks.
2. The GIS website clearly shows adequate area for a driveway to the building site on Lot B that does not
disturb critical slopes with the current lot configuration. Our field visit also confirms adequate area for a
driveway that does not disturb critical slopes with the current lot configuration.
It is arguable that the GIS "clearly" shows adequate space; however, upon your response I went back and
scaled it out in comparison to the plat and it appears there is enough room for the driveway without disturbing
critical slopes.
3. The "Dam Inundation Zone" has been removed from note A under land use in accordance with previous
comments on another project from J.T. Newberry that it is not a zoning district or an overlay and may be
confusing. It is still shown graphically on sheet 2 (Dam Break Inundation Zone (State)) and under the Land Use
Notes (I.)
