Subject: SUB201500082 Duane Snow—Family Division
The Planner will recommend approval of the plat referenced above when the following items have been satisfactorily
addressed. (The following comments are those that have been identified at this time. Additional comments or conditions
may be added or eliminated based on further review.)
Planning
1. [Comment] I'd like to have some information in our records to confirm the status of Leigh Way. I've pulled
several documents from the Circuit Court,but some information is not readily available. Do you have any
information to share with me that I could review and add to the file?Perhaps we can find a time to discuss over
the phone soon.After we've discussed it, I believe there will be some minor changes to Note K on Sheet 1 and
possibly to the roadway description on Sheet 2.
2. [Section 14-309 and 310] Soils information was transmitted to the Health Department on May 8th. I will let you
know as soon as I receive information back from them.
Staff has provided references to the County Code. The Code is kept up-to-date by the County Attorney's office and may
be found at www.albemarle.org/countycode.
In accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B)of Chapter 14, if the subdivider fails to submit a revised plat to address
all of the requirements within six(6)months after the date of this letter,then the application shall be deemed voluntarily
withdrawn.

[Revised Comment] Thank you for providing additional information regarding Leigh Way. On Sheet 2,please
note that Leigh Way is a private street in addition to its label as a"20' Roadway."On Sheet 1,please revise Note
K to read"The existing private street easement..."

Below is the noted I had roger do for SUB201400191 Donald Richard—fam div. I believe this works for you too just
modify it.
114-1061 Private Streets.Also, it appears that the"Existing Entrance Road and 20' Right-of-way"was previously
designated as a Private Street by virtue of the Family Subdivision plat of TMP 02700-00-00-039B0 dated October 3,2000
and approved on November 17,2000. That plat relied on that road for it's frontage. To make this clear for the current
family division being proposed and future divisions please put the Deed Book Page Number of the Family Division of
TMP 02700-00-00-039B0 approved on Nov 17,2000 under the road label along with the other DB Ref#s
(DB279PG574),and label that road as a"Private Street".
