Tom/Cristal,
I just got back into the office, I was away on a mini family vacation Monday and Tuesday.
Typically I put up my away message on my email &voicemail when out of the office but I was rushing around
on Friday and forgot. Sorry for that.
I just checked my snail/mail box and have received the plats you submitted; however, prior to my
approving them they have to be signed and notarized by the owner of record: Cheryl Ruddock. We have
a notary here at the office if she would like to come in and sign them. Let me know when she wants to
come in and we can get this one done asap.
Thanks

Importance: High
Chris, I am just wondering where we stand with plat approval? I dropped off the revised plats first thing
yesterday morning, and you told me last week that typically, once changes have been made and the final plat
is submitted, it is approved the same day or the next day. I am just checking because I have emailed you a
couple of times since Friday and I have not heard a thing from you. Please give me an update as to when I can
expect to pick up the plats and get them signed by the owner and recorded.
Thank you

Tom,
I understand the points you make in the email below; however, it is not clear on the plat. You have a couple
options, each involves revising the plat:
1)Revise the plat to omit the"topo" or whatever the dashed lines are so it is clear on the plat that the drainfield
is completely contained on TMP 119-22A
2) Revise the plat to provide a note which states that the drainfield is entirely on TMP 119-22A and provide a
note which clarifies that the lines depicted on the plat are topo lines and not drainfield lines.
3) Remove the drainfields from the plat entirely
Either way the plat is not approvable as is, and needs to be revised. I've discussed the situation with the
Subdivision Agent and explained your points in the email below. He is unwilling to sign the plat for the same
reasons I mentioned in comment#8.
Incase you do not have a copy of the plat, attached are the initial review plat (PDF) and the revised plat (pdf).

Chris, I am also the OSE who did the soil work and marked the drainfield myself. The drainfield is 5' off of the
property line, as per Health Department regulations. It may appear that the drainfield area is over the line,
because of depicted topo lines or something, but I can assure you the drainfield is completely on the
property. If it wasn't,the Health Department would not have approved it.

Tom,
I have received the signed plats that you submitted; however, this plat is not approvable as depicted. See the
attached email to the surveyor stating this in comment#8 and requesting he correct it before they submit for
signatures. My guess is the surveyor never read comment#8, and I had assumed he had and would just make
the correction prior to submitting the signature copies, OR he read it and corrected it but accidently printed off
the wrong copies of the plat for signatures. I am CCing the surveyor to this email so he is aware of the issue.
Typically the Subdivision Agent approves plats which are ready for approval the same day they come into the
office, or within 1 day of receiving them (depending on work load...etc). Please revise the plat to address
comment#8 and we can approve this plat.
Thanks

Hello Chris, I just wanted to touch base with you regarding the final approval of the Ruddock plats I dropped
off for you today. I would like to get a general idea of when we could expect to have the plats signed off on so
I can come pick them up for recordation.
Thanks
