WHERE UNSUITABLE . MATERIAL IS ENCOUNTERED IN THE
ROADWAY, IT SHALL BE REMOVED FROM THE ENTIRE ROAD
RIGHT -OF -HAY AND REPLACED WHERE NECESSARY WITH
SUITABLE MATERIAL TO THE SATISFACTION OF THE
ENGINEER.
3. ALL GROWL OF TREES AND VEGETATION WHICH OBSTRUCT
SIGHT DISTANCES AT ROAD INTERSECTIONS SHALL BE
REMOVED.

PROCEDURES FOR INSTALLING LATERALS \
TO THE EX SANITARY SEWER MAIN IN SERVICE
WHEN IT IS NECESSARY TO TAP THE MAIN SEWER LINE AND INSTALL A 4" OR 6"
INCH SEWER CONNECTION, THE FOLLOWING GUIDELINE SHALL BE ADHERED T0:
1. THE WORK SHALL BE DONE BY AN APPROVED UT/LITIES CONTRACTOR SPEC /ALIZING
& PERMITTED FOR THE INSTALLATION OF PUBLIC WATER AND SEWER EWES. UPON
REQUEST, THE COUNTY WILL FURNISH A LIST OF KNOWN UTILITIES CONTRACTORS
ACCEPTABLE TO THE COUNTY TO PERFORM SUCH WORK.
2. IF A WATER LINE IS TO BE CROSSED, THE TAP MUST BE MADE ON
MONODY - THURSDAY
3, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE UTILITIES DEPARTMENTES CHIEF INSPECTOR
48 HOURS PRIOR TO BEGINNING CONSTRUCTION.
IF WHEN TAPPING THE SEWER LINE A MECHANICAL HOLE CUTTER AND AN
APPROVED SADDLE MUST BE USED THE TAP MUST BE MADE 50 THAT THE
SERVICE LATERAL CONNECTION WILL ENTER THE MA /N LINE ON A SLOPE NO GREATER THAN
45 DEGREES. NO CONNECTION SHALL BE CUT INTO THE TOP
TIO OF A SEWER LINE.
