C. Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP): 0
VSMP Regulation 9VAC25-870-108 requires the VSMP authority to approve or disapprove a SWMP. This €
Plan is approved, and the reasons are provided in the comments below. The stormwater management ;
plan content requirements can be found in County Code section 17-403. ;
1) No overall changes proposed to impervious areas on site. Existing turf areas are to remain turf areas.
No additional SWM measures are required at this time.

D. Erosion and Sediment Control Plan (ESCP):
Virginia Code§62.1-44.15:55 requires the VESCP authority to approve or disapprove an ESCP.This plan
is disapproved, and the reasons are provided in the comments below.The erosion control plan content
requirements can be found in County Code section 17-402.
I) The stormwater conveyance pipe outlet from sediment basin has contours that don't appear to reflect
the shaping that will be required of the contractor for installation Please show the pipe extended or
headwalls installed to correct this condition. o

This pipe has an ES-I on its outfall.The end section has been placed so that the walls
match the slope of the existing hill.The contractor will backfill trenching for the pipe
to match existing grade. Proposed contours have been added to more clearly reflect
this.
2) Silt fence below the basin appears to exceed the allowed area and slope for regular silt fence. Wire-
supported silt fence mat be required to protect the area below from erosion once the sediments basin
is approved for removal.
The silt fence has been changed to wire supported silt fence in this location.
3) Sheets C3.I and C3.2 have a dark line near the outlet pipe below the new proposed fill area. Please
label or remove dark line.
This line represents tree protection which has been noted by the "TP" symbol next to
it.
4) The proposed fill area in bubble appears to direct stormwater into the building corner and stair area.
Please be sure there is an outlet for the stormwater without flooding the existing building.
The existing area to the south of the proposed fill area is an asphalt play area not a
building.The proposed drainage pattern in this area is similar to the existing pattern
where water flows down the hill and over the play area.
