Collins revised the plat to address all of planning's comments. If you have not started your review please use this version.
(PS the new portions of the easement is to be dedicated to public use through a deed of easement which they submitted to
me,which the rest of the easement is already dedicated to public use through a similar deed).

Attached is my comment letter for SUB2015-215 Briarwood Lots 45,46,and 47-Easement plat. The existing
drainage easement was dedicated to public use through a Deed of Dedication...The modification to the easement is minor,
I wanted to make sure you are good with the minor modification remaining public.

Thanks for sending over these comments,we are wrapping them up now. I do have a couple of questions,
Comment#1: I don't think this is needed,because this is not a division of a property, so we should not be placing the statement on the
plat for a consent to divide. This has also never been placed on any other easement plat that I have done.or that I have been involved
with(see attached Roger Ray's latest easement plat with this note). The Easement plat section of the subdivision ordinance(Section
14-208.2)requires this statement which is found under 14-303(A). It's needed to assure the people/owners signing the plat understand
they are platting the easement. I've seen surveyors modify the statement so it reads: "The platting or dedication of the following
described land[vacation of a portion of existing variable width drainage easement and dedication of a new portion of variable width
drainage easement] is with the free consent and in accordance with the desire of the undersigned Owne'r's,proprietors and trustees, if
Comment#2: Typically(At least all the other easement plats that I have done)the agent for the Board of Supervisors does not sign
the plat. I can put it on the plat,but I just want to make sure that is correct. The Agent is the Agent for the Board of Supervisors.

It's an easement dedicated to public use that VDOT will be maintaining. They as the"owners"of this easement, which is
being changing from what was originally platted is needed. I highly doubt VDOT will have any issues with it, but I still
need them to give me the go ahead. I'm CCing Shelly Plaster so she understands the urgency of it all.

Thanks. Is VDOT really going to have a comment on changing this easement, when it's outside of their r/w and the
change is about 60 SF on either side? I am all for following protocol, but we have a house set to close tomorrow, and we
really need to move on.
