That should work fine. The soils work that I have seen is not a soil sample, but a report generated by a soil scientist or soil consultant that confirms the soils present are likely able to meet State requirements. Perhaps there is some paperwork associated with the perk tests? Just to reiterate, my husband wasn't sure on whether we could send in soil samples to the health dept or if the surveyor had to do it. Has been a crazy day at work. What all do we need to do to get the soil sample testing done? What other things were needed? We've been working with this guy since early April and he has been most difficult to get any information out of, much less to contact. 5 Virginia homes, the place that will be building our house said that if we get everything done by august, we could be in by December. But the rate our surveyor is going, doesn't look like we will meet that deadline. Is there anything we can be doing in the meantime while waiting for him to do the revisions?
