The proposed addition will not exceed the total number of approved beds for the facility per the existing special use permit for the site. 2. The existing entrance onto Greenbrier Drive does not currently meet access management spacing with Westfield Road. When the Hillsdale Drive project is complete, the entrance will also not meet the spacing requirements with the relocated Hillsdale Drive. 3. As the proposed expansion will result in fewer beds for the facility than that which is currently allowed under an existing special use permit, VDOT does not object to the addition as proposed. However, should traffic operation, safety of the existing entrance, or required VDOT maintenance at the existing entrance change in the future after the Hillsdale project is complete, improvements to the entrance may be required. Said improvements may include relocation of the entrance, possibly to a different street, and/or modification of entrance access, such as making access right-in/right-out.
