In order for the amended site plan to be approved the following revisions are required: Vi [Comment] This site plan is a minor site plan amendment to previously approved site plan number SDP 400. Please include the original site plan number and title on the plan,preferably within the title section. The title block has been revised to read Minor Site Plan Amendment West Gate, SDP 400 (see right hand side of site plan sheet) [32.5.2 a] Generj information. Please see checklist for initial site plan and provide all necessary information on the plan including Frames of the owner and developer ;' C map and parcel number;`3-6"undary dimensions;kronng district;t6scriptions of all special use permits and conditions thereof; 'st5u`rce of survey'source of topography; names of owners, zoning district,tax map and parcel of abutting parcels. Name of owner, parcel number and zoning shown for subject parcel and the adjacent parcel to the east have been added as shown on the site plan sheet. An additional sheet has been added showing the overall complex with the supplemental conditions on this sheet. 7[32.5.2 b) Information regarding the proposed use. Provide the maximum height of the proposed addition. The building ridge is called out on the plan sheet as 30'. sir [32.5.2 d) Topography and proposed grading. Show existing topography and proposed grading in the vicinity ofthe addition. There will be no grading associated with the proposed addition. Spot shots have been added for handicap parking area. A note stating this has been added on sheet C-1 (left hand side) [32.6.2 i]Parking. Indicate size of parking spaces,width of isles and number of spaces included in complex as a whole. Indicate type of surfacing for parking area. Parking calculations for proposed apartments appear to be incorrect. Please show correct calculations. The only parking modification occurring is the addition of a van accessible handicap space, which a detail has been added clarifying those required dimensions. We have, however added a typical parking space dimension to the existing parking lot as requested as well as dimensioned the adjacent drive isle and labeled the parking as 'Asphalt area". The parking calculations have been updated with clarification from the architect on the building uses. 6'.'°132.6.2 k] Outdoor lighting. Is any outdoor lighting proposed? Show locations of all proposed and existing outdoor lights in the vicinity of the proposed addition, if any. A photometric plan and cut sheets are required for any proposed lights. Existing Lighting is shown and labeled on the plan. There will be no proposed lighting. 7. [32.5.2 e& 32.7.9.4-9) Landscape features &Landscape plan. Show existing landscaping in the vicinity of the proposed addition and any landscape features to be removed. Provide a landscape plan that shows proposed landscaping and complies with section 32.7.9. The proposed and existing landscaping is shown on the landscape preservation sheet which details the items to remain those being removed, and new plantings proposed. 8. [32.2.n].Existing and proposed improvements. Show existing and proposed improvements in the vicinity of the addition as listed on the initial site plan checklist including buildings; walkways; fences; walls; trash containers; outdoor lighting; landscaped areas and open space; recreational areas and facilities; loading and service areas; signs; proposed paving material types for all walks, parking lots and driveways. We have added additional labeling to detail more clearly the proposed and existing improvements as shown on sheet C-1 . 9. [Comment] This amendment cannot be approved until Inspections,Engineering,ARB and Zoning complete their reviews and grant their approval. Engineering has reviewed the plan and has no objections. Inspections and Zoning comments are attached.ARB comments will be forwarded separately by ARB staff. Staff has provided references to provisions of Chapter 18 of the Code of the County of Albemarle. The Code is kept up to date by the County Attorney's office. The Code may found on the County Attorney's website which may be found under Departments and Services"at Albemarle.org. In accord with the provisions of Section 32.4.3.5 of Chapter 18 of the Code if the developer fails to submit a revised final site plan to address all ofthe requirements within six(6)months after the date of this letter the application shall be deemed to have been voluntarily withdrawn by the developer.
