Ellie,
After looking into this as much as I have today, I believe we do need to make a revision to our plan, but I think there are
two different directions we can go and I wanted your input.
Also, for what I hope makes this easier to track, instead of constantly writing parking required and parking provided, I
will hyphenate the numbers only. For example 5/10 would be 5 parking spaces required and 10 parking spaces
provided.
First option
This option is similar to what we were doing previously, except I think there was a misrepresentation of the numbers on
the plan, I hope to rectify that here.
SDP200800130 Cumulative Parking Requirements show a total of 348/371(see attached C24 Overall.pdf) and specifically
for the Kirtley area 19/34,which include 10 available spaces around the LTACH building.
SDP 201200015 shows 26/64(Ivy Firestation C1.0),this is a significant bump in increased parking and the reason is that
in the cumulative parking plan from SDP200800130,the highlighted blue area (3209.pdf) is not included in the overall
parking count.
If the above makes sense then the current Northridge plan should be revised to what it calls as the increase in demand
and available parking for Ivy Fire Station. It should list as follows:
Onsite Parking Demands increased: 7 (this is derived from the 26 required shown on the Ivy Fire Station plan minus the
19 needed on the Cumulative Parking Requirements Plan)
Onsite Parking Provided Increased:40(this is derived from the 64 spaces listed and shown on the Ivy Fire Station plan,
plus the 10 that are up at the LTACH building minus the 34 total shown on the Cumulative Parking Plan.
Finally we would revise the math on the Total Spaces Required and Provided on the current Northridge Plan to read as
follows:
Total Spaces provided: 348+7+ 18= 373
Total Spaces provided: 371+40=411
Second option
This option seems a bit more straight forward and only relies on the Cumulative Parking Plan associated with
SDP200800130
The cumulative parking plan shows associated parking for Northridge as 225/269
Additional parking required for new addition is 18 spaces with a net of 0 added.
Parking Required: 225+ 18= 243
Parking Provided: 269
1
Thanks for your help and digging infhis, hopefully one of these two options is'r'ceptable to you to justify the parking
on the plan.
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Best,
Craig

Margaret, I am just checking in to see if you've been able to take a look at Northridge yet.
Ellie, if everything is good with the pdfs and "approved", can the building permit be submitted prior to having the plan
officially signed? I know there can be a lag time between approval and the signatures being on the plan, so I wanted to
check and see regarding the building permit.
Thanks to you both for your work on this plan!

could then submit Final copies for signature.

Craig,
I should also say that the limits of disturbance and existing trees(that should have been shown and noted as being
removed)were oversights on my part and should have also been included in my comments.
