It really was helpful for all of us to get on the same page regarding the subject special use permit request. Since our meeting, I pulled together all the pertinent information that will hopefully get you to the finish line on this.This also includes a brief recap of our meeting. Please see the following: Next Steps • The fee breakdown:$306.40 to be paid (for legal advertisement and notification to adjoining property owners) on Monday,April 6, 2015. • $106.40 will be due later for the Board of Supervisor public hearing or you can pay the entire amount on Monday, if you wish, in the amount of$412.80. • The plan is to re-submit only for an amendment to the special use permit conditions on Monday,April 6, 2015. You plan to provide a letter requesting Conditions 3 and 4 be eliminated and Condition 2 will need to be amended to note and/or reflect the change in the fence on the approved plan. (See attached conditions)The approved plan will subsequently be amended with SP201500011.You are requesting this change on the conditions in order to eventually receive a certificate of occupancy for a building currently under construction per SDP2014-00032 by August?, 2015. • In your letter to the County you will also need to let us know that there is a different contact for SP2014-00002. • Submitting on Monday,April 6,2015 should get you to the Planning Commission (PC) no sooner than May 19, 2015 with no comments to the applicant.This means the PC staff report will be your comments. • You will plan to take SP2014-00002 and SP2015-00011 to the Pantops Advisory Council meeting, so they know both are going on and why. Let me know when you plan to do this. I will try to attend. History • 1-30-14 Mandatory pre-app was done. No community meeting was recommended because the requested changes are relatively minor in nature and does not change the original intent of the special use permit. 2-18-14 First submittal (SP2014-00002) • 4-4-14 First staff comment letter sent to applicant.The letter addresses the need for the conditions to be amended for the removal of the fence and the letter states that the intent of the submitted plan is unclear. Is it only for update to Phase 1 of the concept plan or is it to update previously approved phases 2-4? • 4-17-14 A re-submittal was sent to the County to address the staff comments. It included an updated SUP concept plan. • No comments were sent to the applicant. • 5-2-14 A request for an indefinite deferral was sent in order to first complete the necessary work on Phase 1 of construction. • 2- 17-15 (SP 2015-00011) First submittal. Background Information For your convenience please find attached the Project Proposal from Christopher Mantle, dated February 18, 2014, the staff comment letter from Rachel Falkenstein,dated April 4, 2014 and an Action Letter, dated March 27, 2009 inclusive of the last approved SP conditions. This is a lot of information to digest. Serry about that, but I hope it lays everythinge discussed out. Feel free to let me know once you pay, so that I can verify/confirm that it is in our system.
