I am reviewing your comments dated July 25, 2012 for the Ivy Fire Station Plan. I have a few comments/questions that I am hopeful you can help me with so that we can quickly resubmit the plan, making sure all of these comments are addressed. They are as follows: Comment 5- I am not aware of any variances, zoning proffers or conditions applicable to this plan. If you have this readily available can you send it to me, or place the previous site plan at the front desk so that I can come by and review? Comment 8—What information is incomplete? Setback lines have been called out on Sheet C1.3 as well as noted on Sheet C1.0. There is no new building here, so I'm not sure that Building separation is applicable. Please advise. Comment 16—Paved parking and vehicular circulation area was noted on Sheet C1.0, under proposed uses, Roads and Parking and totaled 0.98 acres for the site. I will change the description to be paved parking and vehicular circulation area. Is there something else you are looking for here? Comment 18- In regards to Comment 18, and requiring a Landscape Plan, since we do not have any right of way adjacent to the area of disturbance my understanding of the ordinance is that we would only be required for landscaping the parking lot. However, this landscaping can be provided by existing trees. Since we have a large group of trees adjacent to the parking lot we can use those to show that the plan...I will call those out and provide calculations showing 10%tree canopy. Is that all you are missing for that(the calculation and separation onto a sheet called Landscape Plan)? I know we have the trees referenced where we are preserving them, as well as the Conservation Checklist on the plan. Comment 19- In regards to Comment 19, asking about a Lighting Plan, I previously responded that there were not going to be any new lights. Is there something I am missing here or does that allow for this comment to be removed? Thanks again for your reviews on this plan and helping us get this through towards approval! 1 Craig Kotarski, P.E., LEED AP `4"11°' ""'` Project Engineer TIMMONS GROUP I www.timmons.com 919 2nd Street S.E.
