RE: SDP-2015-00056; Crozet Park-Minor Site Plan Amendment Comment Response
Dear Ellie,
This letter is to accompany the revised Minor Site Plan Amendment plans and serve as response to
comments outlined in your Memorandum dated November 24, 2015:
Planning Division
1. There was a LOR to SDP201100015 that approved the addition of a 12'x 26'shed; if this
improvement was constructed, include it in the "Previous Site Plans"section as well.
Response: Added to the list.
2. Provide the maximum amount of paved and vehicular circulation areas for use in the landscape
calculations..
Response: Calculation/verification added to the Landscape Plan.
3. Verify that all existing sewer, water, drainage, and any other utilities are shown, including their
associated easements with deed book and page number.
Response: Additional existing water line from near the concession stand to Park Road
was discovered and added to the plan with Deed Book and Page references.
4. A minimum of 5% of the paved parking and vehicular circulation area shall be landscaped with
trees and shrubs.
Response: Calculation/verification added to the Landscape Plan.
5. Provide the lumen level of each proposed fixture.
Response: The Photometric Plan was revised to address comment.
6. The catalog numbers provided in the luminaire schedule do not match the cut sheets.
Response: The luminaire schedule and cut sheets have been revised.
7. The luminaire schedule should list the tilt of each proposed fixture; it must be 0 to be considered
full cutoff.
Response: A note was added to the Photometric Plan requiring all fixtures to have 0
degree tilt.
8. The maintenance factor(LLF) should be 1.0;provide photometric information using this value.
Response: The photometrics were re-run using LLF of 1.0.
9. Provide the County standard lighting note.
Response: Note added to Photometric Plan sheet.
10. The WPO application must be approved prior to Site Plan approval.
Response: Plan was preliminarily approved upon first submittal. Revisions in this plan
submittal are minimal but should be vetted with Max. There is a slight decrease in
impervious area as a result of these revisions.
11. This site plan amendment cannot be approved until inspections, VDOT, and ACSA complete
their reviews and grant their approval. Fire rescue and Engineering have completed their
reviews: each has no objection.
Response: VDOT had no comments. ACSA asked for a profile of the existing waterline
showing proposed and existing grades. The profile has been added to the plan.

New Now,
Inspections required an additional accessible parking space which has been added by
shifting the striping in front of the pool house.
In addition to the revisions described above, two proposed parking spaces were eliminated and replaced
with a proposed dumpster pad and enclosure. There is a slight decrease in impervious area as a result of
these revisions so we don't anticipate any trouble with the WPO application.
We hope that you find the four copies of the plan submittal and response to be worthy of approval. Please
do not hesitate to call if you have any questions or need anything additional.
Sincerely,
/2
