Reactivation of Special Use Permit
Site Plan Waiver Request
Slope Waiver Request
This request is to construct an 800 sq. ft. addition to the existing fellowship hall.
The proposed addition is not intended to increase membership or traffic flow to
the site. The additional area is proposed for fellowship after exercises, special
events, and monthly dinners.
The church is also trying to comply with VDOT's recommendation and install a
new entrance, however, because of the grade at the location that VDOT has ap-
proved for the new entrance, we cannot maintain the 10% slope recommended.
Therefore, the church would like to request a slope waiver under Section 32.3.10
of the Ordinance to allow for the driveway to be at 15% as shown on the pro-
posed plan.
The church would also like to request that the existing entrance remain open and
used as a right turn out only with VDOT and Albemarle County approval. The
church will provide proper signage at the entrance for exit only.
