The County of Albemarle Planning Division will grant or recommend approval of the Subdivision Plat referenced
above once the following comments have been addressed: [Each comment is preceded by the applicable reference,
which is to the Subdivision/Zoning Ordinances unless otherwise specified.]
11. [14-303(E),14-412]Private Street. Label the private street as "30'Private Street Easement to serve Lot A and the
residue ar-cel." `

subdivision may not meet the standards for acceptance into the secondary system of state highways and will not be
maintained by the Virginia Department of Transportation or the County of Albemarle."

for the proposed private street.County Attorney approval is required prior to final plat approval. adn IC

sent to the Health Department and is pending a review.Health Director approval is required prier to final nlat approval.
Staff has provided references to the County Code. The Code is kept up-to-date by the County Attorney's office and
may be found at v, .albeniarle.org count■code. In accord with the provisions of Section 14-229(B)of Chapter 14,
if the applicant fails to submit a revised plat to address all of the requirements within six(6)months after the date of this

I just left a voicemail briefly explaining this email. Please make the following corrections to the attached
maintenance document before I forward this document to the County Attorney for his review/approval:
1)The plat is required to be revised to relabel the private street as: "30'Private Street Easement to serve Lot A
and the residue parcel". Assure the reference to the easement is corrected in the maintenance document on
page 2.
2) Currently the plat depicts the easement as 50' wide at the entrance and reduces down to 30' wide for the
remainder of the easement. Assure that page 2 of the maintenance document is corrected to provide the correct
width. Possibly provide a width range or utilize term "variable width" when describing the easement.
Once the above are corrected email me a revised version and I'll send it to the County Attorney for review/
approval.
