HomeMy WebLinkAboutSUB201500119 Action Letter 2016-02-18RIVANNA VILLAGE CONSTRUCTION TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT PLAN Rivanna Village LLC, the Owner and Developer (the "Owner") of Rivanna Village, which was approved by the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors as ZMA 2013-00012, hereby establishes the following Construction Transportation Management Plan (the "CTM Plan") in satisfaction of proffer #10 of ZMA 2013-00012: 1. The Owner shall establish, construct, and maintain a 10 -foot wide shared use path along Glenmore Way from Route 250 to Main Street, as shown as "10' Wide Shared Use Path" on the attached exhibit prepared by Alan Franklin, PE, LLC, entitled "Rivanna Village Construction Traffic Management Plan Exhibit" dated September 21, 2015 (the "CTM Plan Exhibit"). 2. In addition to any temporary traffic control signage required by the Virginia Department of Transportation ("VDOT"), the Owner agrees to install such signage as determined to be necessary by the County Director of Community Development (the "Director"). 3. The Owner shall establish and maintain an asphalt -paved construction entrance to the Rivanna Village property at the intersection of Glenmore Way and Main Street, in the area shown on the CTM Plan Exhibit as "Asphalt -Paved Construction Entrance Utilizing Existing Fire Hydrant for Equipment Wash Down." 4. The Owner shall establish and maintain a vehicle wash -down area within the paved construction entrance, and shall use such wash -down area to remove any soil, sand, mud, gravel or other substances from any construction vehicle, passenger car, or motorcycle before it enters onto Glenmore Way from the Rivanna Village property. The Owner shall have a flagman present at the intersection of Glenmore Way and Main Street in the area shown on the CTM Plan Exhibit at all times when construction vehicles are entering and exiting the Rivanna Village property, to assist them in safely entering and exiting the property and to ensure smooth traffic flow for commuter and other vehicles using Glenmore Way. 6. The Owner shall clean the construction intersection at Glenmore Way and Main Street every evening of each day during which construction activity occurs on the Rivanna Village property to remove any soil, sand, mud, gravel or other substances from the road. 7. The Owner shall provide the Glenmore Community Association with written weekly updates of anticipated construction activity for the upcoming week. RIVANNA.
