14. Lighting Plan and fixture information from email has been provided.
• Luminaire schedule added.
• Cut sheets have been added. I have confirmed with manufacturer that Fixture A does
not meet Full cutoff at 60 degree tilt. However, they did say that by adding the Deep
Baffle Shield it will make this fixture a full cutoff 60 degrees. This shield has been
added to the plans and noted as a requirement if 60 degree tilt is desired.
• See note above. Option is given for 0 degree tilt or shield.
• Model numbers match between schedule and cut sheets.
• Locations are now consistent.
• Note added.

1. No objection.
VDOT — Troy Austin, P.E.
1. The access for construction will be the emergency access road shown on the plans.
2. Note has been added to C3.
3. This hanger is strictly for storage with no maintenance being performed. The trip generation
impact from the client based on existing hangers is 1.5 trips per aircraft per week. There will
be 4 airplanes at most in the hanger so a total generation of 6 trips per week for the hanger. It
should also be noted that some trips may not be generated by the new hanger due to users
already being onsite for other reasons. The 1.5 trips is based on new aircraft in the hanger
generating new traffic, which the client says will not necessarily be the case.
ACSA — Alexander J. Morrison, EIT
1. As discussed and provided by client, the existing private line feeding the existing hangers is
8". This line has been extended and two hydrants are added to the line. Based on fire flow
results and fire suppression testing of adjacent hangers, adequate fire flow is available.
2. There will not be a domestic meter. I apologize for the confusion, the details have been
removed.
3. This was from the client and not an official number from the fire suppression company.
4. Fire flow test has been received and provided to fire suppression company and fire marshal.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
