We cannot move forward with the review of this application because it was incomplete and because the proposal does not meet the approved design criteria for signs in this shopping center. I . The photograph on the sign drawing does not illustrate the entire building, so the exact location of the proposed sign cannot be determined from the submitted information. Please provide sufficient information to locate the sign within the shopping center. 2. The approved comprehensive sign criteria for this shopping center are attached. We cannot approve a sign application that does not meet these criteria. Please revise the proposal accordingly. 3, For future reference, please note that Pantone numbers or actual samples are required for the review of proposed colors. We cannot accept CMYK color numbers for review. 4. For future reference, note that sign proposals that do not meet the approved comprehensive sign criteria require the ARB review fee. Within 15 days of the date of this letter, you may resubmit the application with all of the standard information required for ARB sign review and information addressing the comments above. The date of the next submittal deadline following the date that the revised submittal is received by the County will be considered the new submittal date and review will proceed from there. If you fail to resubmit within the 15 day period, the application shall be denied and a new application and fee will be required. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
