Enclosed please find four sets of Site Plan Amendment for the referenced project. The
plans have been revised in accordance with the following responses to your comments
dated March 11, 2011
Planning Comments:
1. Approval of the Public Health Department shall be required prior to site plan approval
(SP2008- 00056condition #6)
RESPONSE: We have included correspondence from William Craun indicating
Health Department approval of the site plan.
2. The applicant shall provide plantings to the satisfaction of the Architectural Review
Board (has this been done? ( SP2008 -00056 condition #7)
RESPONSE: We have included correspondence from the ARB dated February 16,
2010 indicating their approval of the site plan amendment.

3. Add SP2008 -00056 to the site data and have the special use permit conditions
scanned onto the minor amendment.
RESPONSE: The SP has been added under the Proposed Use heading in the Site
Data on Sheet C2. Also, the approval conditions have been added to the Cover
Sheet.
4. There needs to be a reference on the site data that the church sanctuary shall not
exceed two hundred and fifty (250) seats.
RESPONSE: The note has been added under the Proposed Use heading in the
Site Data on Sheet C2.
Engineering Comments:
1. Site plan (SDP201000093)
a. Walkways will be designed in accordance with County Design Standards Manual.

RESPONSE: Per discussion with Engineering, we have labeled the trail as a
primitive nature trail.
b. Proposed pergola foundation appears to block drainage way to existing basin.
Please show how drainage way will not be obstructed or is otherwise adequate for
storm flows.
RESPONSE: The pergola is to be a raised platform constructed on posts and
therefore will not block the drainage ditch. A note to this effect has been added
to Sheet C5.

2. Stormwater Management and Mitigation Plan (WPO201000081)
a. SWM does not appear adequately protected from sediment contamination. SWM
will be inspected and approved prior to release of WPO bond.
RESPONSE: The owner is aware that the biofilter will likely need to be excavated
following construction.
b. Please clarify the information for the "Two stormwater management detention
ponds" mentioned in the E &SC narrative.
RESPONSE: The narrative has been revised.
3. Erosion Control Plan (WPO201000081)
a. Temporary construction entrances [Std. & Spec. 3.02] are required for each
disturbance. This office recommends showing the (CE) symbol in a location that will
serve all areas of disturbance.
RESPONSE: Two construction entrances have been provided since it is not
anticipated that the work will commence at the same time.
b. Silt fence [Std. & Spec. 3.05] does not appear to meet the minimum requirements
for sediment control. This office recommends 2 sediment traps on either side of the
existing SWM basin to meet the minimum requirements of the VESCH. These
structures will convert into the fore -bays now required by the State for SWM's.
RESPONSE: The biofilter will serve as a sediment trap during construction.
c. Please label the stock -pile area on the plans as noted in the narrative.
RESPONSE: A temporary stockpile location has been added to Sheet C5.
