The proposed seventeen (17) light fixtures are intended to replace the
older Virginia Power fixtures (installed around the mid -70's) that do not
comply with the current County ordinance and have since been removed.
The new U.S. Architectural Lighting fixtures will be pole mounted 15'
above finished grade, and provide several benefits over the previously
installed Virginia Power fixtures. These benefits include:
• Improved safety through more even lighting patterns
• Increased electrical efficiency
• Full cutoff fixture (no light transmitted above 900)
• Added pedestrian comfort
• All of these have been achieved while maintain modest lighting
levels within the community

Plan) of the Albemarle County Zoning Ordinance. I understand that plans which lack information required by said sections
shall be deemed incomplete and shall be denied by the agent within ten (10) days of submittal as provided in Section 32.4.2.1
or Section 32.4.3.3 as the case may be.
For Final Plans Only: To the best of my knowledge, I have complied with Section 32.4.3.1 and obtained tentative approvals
