RE: SDP 2010 — 85 Baugh Auto Body II - Minor
Dear Mr. Hooker,
I have reviewed the site plan referenced above. The plan may be approved with after the following items
have been addressed:
1. Approval from the Architectural Review Board. (It is my understanding that it is scheduled for
review on 12/6/10.) Any changes made by the Architectural Review Board will need to be shown
on the site plan.
2. The durpster- is proposed to be located in an area that is currently grass. The grass area is also
noted as proposed vehicle storage area. The only new pavement area indicated is adjacent to the
building where the new 12' wide overhead door is shown. No new pavement limits are indicated
in the proposed vehicle storage area or new dumpster area. Please indicate that the new limits of
paving in the proposed vehicle storage area.
3. The dumpster must be located on a dumpster pad meeting the requirements of 4.12.19 the Zoning
Ordinance. I have attached the language of that section to this letter.

4.12.19 MINIMUM DESIGN REQUIREMENTS AND IMPROVEMENTS FOR DUMPSTER PADS
The following design requirements and minimum improvements shall be satisfied for all vehicle
access aisles:
a. Materials. Dumpster pads shall be concrete.
b. Design. The pad shall extend beyond the front of each dumpster so that the front wheels of a
truck servicing the dumpster will rest on the concrete, but in no case shall the length of a
concrete pad be less than eight (8) feet beyond the front of the dumpster. The site shall be
designed so that stormwater does not run through, and drains away from, areas where
dumpsters are located in order to minimize the potential for contaminating stormwater runoff
due to contact with solid waste.
