Our responses areas follows: 2. Comment: The site plan cannot be approved until the WPO plan is approved. The review of the WPO plan will be provided in a separate comment letter. (Rev. 1) At the time of this letter, the WPO plan has not yet been approved Response: This is understood. 3d. Comment: All streets within the development areas require curbing, sidewalks, and 6ft planting strips. Since the application plan was approved without planting strips for t his phase, planting strips will not be required. However, sidewalks must be provided or a waiver of this design standard must be approved by the Planning Commission. [14- 410.H, 14-422,18-32.7.2.8] (Rev. 1) Please extend the sidewalk 25ft east of the driveway for Lot I and provide a crosswalk to the sidewalk on the other side of Avemore Pond Drive. Two CG -12's will likely be needed to meet ADA requirements. Response: The sidewalk has been extended to include two CG -12's in the requested location. The fire hydrant has been moved behind the sidewalk to accommodate this adjustment. See Dwg. No. C -8. 3e. Comment: Please provide an autoturn exhibit showing the movement of afire engine through Avemore Pond Road. [14- 412.B, 18- 32.5.6s] (Rev. l) I have sent a copy of this exhibit to Fire and Rescue for their approval. If they find any objection to the alignment, adjustments may be necessary. Charlottesville ■ Lynchburg V Response: The autoturn exhibits were reviewed and found to be acceptable to the Fire Marshal's office (see attached 8/31/10 electronic communication). S. Comment: In the storm drain profiles, please show all of the sanitary sewer lateral crossings. (Rev. 1) Comment has not been addressed The crossing of the storm sewer will not be an issue only if a slope close to the minimum was applied to each lateral. Please show these lateral crossings or provide inverts for each cleanout of lots 24 -28 and I'll check the clearance myself. Response: The sanitary sewer lateral crossings have been added to the storm drain profile. See Dwg. No. C -11. I trust the above responses and plan changes properly address the outstanding items.
