This townhouse development is located behind houses on Wilton Farm Road, as viewed from the
Route 20 Entrance Corridor. Site sections previously provided by the applicant show that the
proposed townhouses are 40' high and the houses on Wilton Farm Road are 32' high. Because the
townhouses are to be located behind the houses, and because the townhouses will not exceed twice
the height of the houses, this proposal qualifies for review as a county -wide Certificate of
Appropriateness. This type of review allows staff to complete the review and approval without review
at an ARB meeting. An ARB application and submittal are still required, and approval of that
application is required prior to final site plan approval. The applicant can contact me with questions
