What type of change is requested?
Variation to the Plan Variation to the Code or Standard
Provide a copy of the existing plan (may be a reduced copy) illustrating the area for which the change is requested. Provide a
graphic representation of the requested change.
Describe the variation being sought (may attach separate sheets):
Delete low stone wall proposed along State Farm Boulevard
What is the reason for each of the requested variations ?:
With the completion of-the road improvements.and landscape design, we are concerned that the stone wall lacks context an(
precedent-for this location on the campus. The landscape plan that has been submitted for approval provides what we
believe-to be-amore sensitive and appropriate treatment of this transitional area between the rural, cultural campus of the
Kluge -Ruhe Museum to the north and the State Farm Insurance campus to the south. We simply have more information
now.about the character of this section of the campus now that the hospital construction and sitework are within a year of
completion, allowing us to evaluate and modify plans that were approved over five years ago (based on conceptual plans)
based on actual conditions. This opportunity did not exist with the original rezoning.
