Letter of Revision - One
Sir or Madam,
Please accept this letter describing our proposed changes to the previously approved
Site Plan for this property. Construction is underway at the site and we have identified
some site conditions (with the Contractor's help) that we believe will improve the overall
design and function of the property.
Our request for revisions includes items:
A. Preserve and existing 27" white oak by eliminating a new underground
stormwater pipe and allowing stormwater in this area to continue to flow per it's
current/existing condition prior to the initiation of the fellowship Hall addition. By
preserving this tree and eliminating the underground pipe from the scope of work,
we can limit disturbance of the existing site to those areas immediately
surrounding the new Fellowship Hall addition.
B. Provide a new "stonedust" walking path from the rear door of the connecting
hallway at the new addition to the driveway at the rear of the building. This path
will allow easier access from the adjacent parking area and rear driveway to the
Church and provide a second (shorter) accessible path to the Church.
C. Re -route one roof drain from the corner of the new addition to a path that will join
the other roof drains for the building. The original site design initiated a lot of site
disturbance just to accommodate this lone roof drain. We believe by routing it to
join the other roof drains we can reduce /eliminate much of the site disturbance
behind the existing buildings.
D. Although not shown on the Final Approved Site Plans and not required for
review, we also intend to route the foundation drains from the new addition to
daylight at a point adjacent to Tabor Street
Our application package for these four (4) changes includes the following items in
quantities and format per the checklist noted on the application form: application form,
application fee, final Site Plan number (as noted above), a letter describing the proposed
changes, changes shown on Final Site Plan in 11 x 17 format.
We trust this information meets with your approval. Thank you in advance for your help.
Please feel free to call with questions or if we can provide additional information.
